DFR0946
I just purchased two new DFR0946 buck-boost converters to make some mini UPS. I have a battery with 13.2V and an on-board BMS (4S40A). I am intending to use the buck-boost converter to take a 12V power supply from the wall outlet up to 13.4V or so to charge the battery. I have a DFR0205 to take the battery voltage back down to 12.2V to power my device.
When I connect the DFR0946 to a power source, it immediately drops the voltage to 0.6V. I am using a 12V (12.2V) 0.5A power source. I also attempted with a 19V 2A power supply with the same issue. I connect the battery to the output but I cannot get the voltage to increase or decrease from what the battery is delivering. I have tried with no output and with the battery as output, I have also confirmed the 12V to the leads I am connecting to the converter. As soon as I connect, the voltage drops. Two different power sources, two different ways, two different buck-boost converters and the issue persists.
What is going on?
