Gravity: BLE Sensor Beacon - high current consumption

The module works without major issues. To measure current consumption I do connect any external sensor - just pure beacon setup to advertise its presence every 5000msec.
Connected multimeter and read the working current (actually sleep mode current as the tx period is around 5s) around 1mA.
Of course this reading meets the DFROBOT datasheet but I wonder why the current is so high.
I would expect something around 1uA following IN100 data.
Do you observe the same behavior?
