SEN0232 Sampling Rate and Frequency Response

Hi,

Anyone know the sampling rate of SEN0232?

I'm looking for sound level meter with frequency response 30 Hz - 12 kHz.

But from product specification SEN0232 only listed at 8.5 kHz.

But if the sampling rate is greater than 24 kHz would it be able to capture noise level at 12 kHz?

The sampling rate for the SEN0232 sound level meter is not explicitly listed in the provided documents. However, based on the typical requirements for capturing a frequency response up to 12 kHz, the sampling rate needs to be at least twice the highest frequency you wish to capture, according to the Nyquist theorem. This means that a sampling rate of at least 24 kHz is required to accurately capture noise levels up to 12 kHz.

Given that the SEN0232 lists a frequency response of up to 8.5 kHz, it's likely that its sampling rate is not sufficient to accurately capture noise levels at 12 kHz. To capture noise levels up to 12 kHz, you should look for a sound level meter with a sampling rate of at least 24 kHz.

SEN0232 does not meet the requirements you mentioned.
