Hi, I have tried using your sensor and followed the wiki page example for Arduino version.
It does not work. I supply the sensor from Vin Uno's pin. I have connect Uno with 9v power supply. I have make ths same circuit as wiki describes. Any ideas?
I have tried Arduino Uno and Arduino Leonardo, neither worked. Also, I have adjusted the baud rate in the serial monitor. Is there an additional serial port adjustment you are referring to?
Thanks

Sensor Power Supply Voltage: 6-36 V
It is recommended that the Arduino UNO be connected to a 7-12V power supply. Connect VCC of the sensor to VIN, GND to GND, TX, RX to 12, 13.
Or you can also power the sensor separately, don't forget to connect the GND of the external power supply to the GND of the UNO, refer to the pictures in the wiki.
If there is no data, please try to exchange tx and rx.
The baud rate of the serial monitor is 115200.
Hi, You can check the Register Table in the wiki for instructions on how to adjust the measuring distance. The greater the measuring distance, the less immune you are to the environment. Therefore, it is not recommended to measure objects outdoors in bright light.
