DFR0550 Disable Screensaver

I have purchased the DFR0550 product, but the screen continues to sleep despite OS settings. I have disabled all screen suspension settings but they seem to be completely ignored. The screen still goes to its sleep state, blinking white red blue and green repeatedly. Is there a DFR specific setting that I am missing?

For context I use Ubuntu 24.04.1 and disabled all sleep settings according to this guide How to Completely Disable Suspend/Hibernate in Ubuntu 24.04 | 22.04 | UbuntuHandbook.

If I cannot resolve this it will be a deal breaker for using this screen, as I cannot have randomly touches setting off events when the user wants to wake the screen up.
