BT401 data rates (SKU: DFR0781)

Hi all!   New the forum, thanks for having me.

 

I searched around and didn't see any discussion on this topic, so I was hoping someone might have some answers to the below questions.   Thanks!

 

 - Any idea of the supported data rates over SPP in “transparent” mode?   My project will need to support around 150kbps from an MCU→BT401→ paired device using SPP, and was curious if anyone has benchmarked this.

 

 - I gather from the datasheet and Wiki that this device can support A2DP audio while also allowing for data transfer via SPP.   Is there a difference in supported data rate with/without audio playback?

 I have few BT401 modules on order right now, and will plan on checking these things out on the bench, but was curious if anyone has some experience with this type of application.
