Hello.

I have read DFRobot's article about the SEN 0219 CO2 sensor: https://www.dfrobot.com/wiki/index.php/ ... U:_SEN0219

I am working on a project that involves measuring CO2 levels in a container that experiences high levels of CO2. I'm considering using the SEN 0219 CO2 Sensor. Conditions in the room might exceed the maximum 5000 ppm rated for the sensor.

If I were to place the 5000 ppm max sensor inside a room that has levels above 5000 ppm, what kinds of readings would I expect to get from the sensor? Would I expect to still read 2V from the sensor or a slightly higher value or something else?

Also, if I were to place the sensor in an environment that exceeds its rating, but then CO2 levels dropped to levels of CO2 to back within its operating range (e.g. I place the sensor in a contain at 7000 ppm and then drop the level to 3000 ppm), can I expect the sensor to measure correctly once the CO2 levels drop below 5000 ppm? Or would there be a short delay before the sensor adjusts to being back in its operation range?

If I could have this answered, then that would be great. Thank you.
