Wireless Programming Module For Arduino is not working

Hello,

Configuration:

Arduino Mega 2560
Mega IO Expansion Shield For Arduino Mega V1.1
2x Wireless Programming Module For Arduino
Xbee USB adapter

both WPM configured as follows:

Version:V2
Baudrate(Register:1-3):115200
ID(Register:4-8):192.168.1.1.1
Operating Frequency(0-125)(Register:9):125
Air Data Rate(1M/2M/250K)(Register:10):250Kbps
Timeout(Register:11):20

Nothing works at all. Code uploading hangs. Serial Monitor doesn't work as well.

Could you please let me know how to resolve the issue.

regards

2011-09-28 23:40:51 Hi Rednikin,

We have tried your setup and discovered that the WPM module will not work with the MEGA 2560. The modules do work for the duemilanove, UNO, and the MEGA 1280. I am sorry about this inconvenience. We will add this incompatibility to our product page.

Please let me know what we can do to solve this problem for you. If you like, we can offer a refund on the WPM modules.

Yes. I'm able to program it over USB but only when WPM is unpluigged.

Hello world is working but only when USB cable is unplugged.

Both jumpers are OFF as per you guide.

five I2c devices + 3 analog ang 8 digital pins are used.

nothing. it supposed to be working out of the box.

2011-09-26 23:53:55 Hi Michael,

Have you tried programming the Arduino through the USB, just to make sure that is working?

You can also test the WPMs by just testing a simple "hello world" program outputting to the serial monitor.

What about the jumper settings? Have you made sure the jumpers on the WPMs are set properly?

If none of this solves the issue could you give me a bit more information about your setup? do you have anything else connected to the Arduinos? What other troubleshooting have you done?
