IR transmitter module (dfr0095)

Hello,

I bought 4wd MiniQ (ROB0050) and the digital IR Transmitter Module (DFR0095).
For controlling the mini car, I use the new irmote library (http://www.arcfn.com/2009/08/multi-protocol-infrared-remote-library.html), that run perfectly with a normal remote controller (Sony Model).
With the Ir Module, I can control the mini car but I must place the module very near the car. I would to know how to increase the power of the ir module ?

You can find my sketchs here : https://gitorious.org/voiture_4wd_arduino

I tried with the included IR library and with another ir remote, that's run perflectly.
The ir transmitter has the specific NEC standard ?

Have you tried using our included IR library along with the NEC codes? Our IR remote uses the NEC standard. You should be getting a good distance with our setup.
