Is there a mini breadboard that is made the right way?

Hi,

I've bought a DFRobot ProtoShield and it comes with a Mini BreadBoard included. The mini breadboard looks like this one: http://www.dfrobot.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=67&product_id=125 I don't know if it is exactly the same as that one.

This mini breadboard must have been designed by... well, let's say someone who shouldn't be designing products. The clips inside it are shaped or mounted somehow perpendicularly to how they should be. If you try to plug a PCB potenciometer into it like in the first picture, which is the only way that makes sense, it won't fit: the pins of the potenciometer are flat, and the (not square, slightly rectangular) holes inside are oriented perpendicularly to them.

If on the other hand, you mount the potenciometer on the board like in the second picture, which makes no sense at all and is completely useless, then it will fit PERFECTLY into the holes.

I have bought several of them and they are all like this, while I have used other (bigger) breadboards and never seen one that had such a stupid, huge design flaw.

Now, apart from the rant, the question is: does anybody know an alternative mini breadboard of the same size (so that it would nicely fit onto the protoshield) but which is made the right way?

thanks
m.
