Difference: DFRobot USB Host Shield for Arduino & IOIO Board from Sparkfun

Hello,
is there any difference between the boards? Looks like i could use both for same purposes.

2012-06-11 20:52:56 You're right. They are designed for the same purpose. But there have total different technical parameters?
I just know a little about both of them.
Android system version
IOIO could work with your Android 1.5 and later device.
Google/Arduino/DFRduino ADK just could work with Android 2.3.4 and later system. I know about ADK more than IOIO. According to my own experience, it just couldn't work with any custom rom.
Software development platform
IOIO is using a PIC chip. So if you want to program the IOIO, you should be familiar with this microcontroller.
ADK is designed based on Arduino by Google. You could also find the usb host shield in the market. However the ADK is just embed the mega2560 and usb host shield together. And google has suggested a library for ADK.So I think it's a little easier for the Arduino player to program it.
So I think they have different characteristics.
