DFRduino Mega hangs on upload if pin 38 is used

Hello!
I have a strange problem with my DFRduino Mega (H20882A0).
If I connect a wire to pin 38 without attaching it to anything and try to upload a new sketch, the upload process will hang, requiring me to kill avrdude.exe and try again. If this pin remains unconnected or connected via wire to GND, everything is fine.
Could you tell me what may cause such a problem?
Thank you!

Yes.
Could you please try to upload code multiple times when a wire is inserted into pin 38, since I remember it wasn't always the first time when the hang occurred.

2012-06-06 19:14:27 Hi 1visible,
That sounds like you might have something wrong with your MEGA, no one esle has reported this kind of problem, and we are unable to replicate the problem here.
Are you able to upload a new program to the board with nothing connected to it?

2012-06-06 00:25:24 Hi Hector!
I have nothing connected to the Mega except for a wire into pin 38, the other end of which is not connected to anything (this is the most simple case, I also tried that with a 4x4 keypad connected to pins, one of which is 38).
I try to upload Blink sketch from basic Arduino samples.
The RX LED on the Mega will light up for a while and then nothing will happen.

Today I tried to replicate your problem and I found nothin...
Could you tell me what kind of program you are trying to use? could you share the code?
Do you have anything else connected to the MEGA?

2012-06-05 00:07:42 That number is printed on the board, which is this (2560, black):

On the photo I can see the same number.

2012-06-04 19:03:03 Hi 1nvisible,
what is that number (H20882A0)?
is the MEGA a 1280 or a 2560?
Also, is it one of the newer MEGA versions with the colored pin headers or an all black MEGA?
I'll try to replicate the problem here.
