DFRduino UNO R3 not detected to laptop

I have a unit of the UNO R3(DFRduino)....since last time i was able to use it and upload program from arduino ide with USB.
Till today i encounter a problem where the Uno is not detected.
The serial port in tools section in the arduino IDE also has greyed out. And also on the UNO board, the ON led which is red led and the L led which is green is both on.
I have uninstalled the driver and trying to install it back like the usual, but when i connect the Uno back in my device manager i did not detect the UNO.
But when im connecting my friend's UNO board to my laptop it detects the and automatically detect the UNO? and only the L led is on which is the green led near pin 13.
can someone help me with this?

2013-04-10 06:58:55 Just to make sure there is nothing wrong with your IDE, did you change your Arduino IDE recently?
Another reason could be that the port is already used. Check if no device or software is using the COM port. lumi
