Greetings,

I am currently working on a project which will use a thermal sensor to collect the data then feed those data to a media controller.
The problem is I can just use the RS232 cable to connect the Arduino and the media controller and I don't want use an external power supply.
I found two products, the RS232 Shield For Arduino(SKU: DFR0258 )and the MAX202 RS232 to TTL converter For Arduino(SKU: DFR0077), on DFRobot.
Can I power the Arduino and another 5 mA consumption thermal sensor just by an RS232 cable after installing one of the products above? The smaller the better, I prefer using the Arduino Nano in this project.
Thank you all! :D

Cheers,

David
