Bluno nano : listen for BLE beacons advertisements

Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible for a Bluno nano configured in the Central role to listen for advertisements from other BLE devices, and to get the RSSI of the received advertisement.
The goal is to use the bluno nano to detect the proximity of several BLE beacons, and to have an estimation of which beacon is the closest.

If it's possible, how can I do that?
If not, will it be possible in the future? When?

Thank you for your help.

2017-06-04 06:06:53 Hi,

I have exactly the same requirements i.e. few iBeacon sender Bluno's and one iBeacon Bluno receiver. I can set the sender Blunos in iBeacon mode, and see the Beacons in my Android App. But what I need is a Bluno to receive them. Does the latest firmware has these ? Or is there any solution to address this issue ?

2014-11-06 00:32:31 Hi

Is there any update about this feature? I read that BLE Mini (http://redbearlab.com/blemini/) is doing it but you have to flash a firmware (see here https://redbearlab.zendesk.com/entries/72966016-BLE-Mini-Tutorials ) and using HCI mode

Do you think I can do it on BLUNO? I think its a feature of great interest

Thanks

2014-09-10 01:07:17 Hi Jose, Thank you for your answer.

Unfortunately, I do not have a solution. The idea is to do a classic device discovery scan, but I don't know how to achieve that without aditionnal features in the firmware.

2014-09-06 03:16:39 Welcome Laconis,

Sorry, but I don't have information regarding this feature yet.
However, I believe there will be more updates in the future, unfortunately, I can't give you date.
Do you have any idea or approach for this feature? Or even some suggestions?
