I need a head mounted "breath detector" for a VR project. The user should be able to scale or modify a 3d object with his breath. I tried different temperature sensors and a microphone in front of the nose with reasonably results. The problem with temperature sensors is the big latency (~0.5s) before the sensor is heated up / cooled down and also the ambient temperature and mounting can make things more difficult.
Could the SEN0219 be a good alternative? Is the sensor accurate and fast enough (minimum 5-10Hz) to measure breath? Or is there a better sensor?
