EC Meter Problem

I am using the EC meter kit with an Arduino. As far as I can tell, the output voltage should be less than 150mv when no probe is connected or with probe not in solution.
I am getting 1347mV with no solution, 1416mV in 1413us/cm solution and 2031mV in 12.88ms/cm. So it is measuring but I'm not sure how to accurately get rid of this offset or why it is happening.
