BLUNO Firmware upgrades and multiconnection

Ok I have done BLUNOs firmware upgrades for quite sometime and I am having some annoying problems that need to be addressed here.
I am upgrading from version 1.6. After I have deleted Blunov1.6, yes it automatically remount the driver but.. you forgot to mention that it will keep on doing that in the sense that it is almost impossible for me to place UBL2SBL.bin because the drive will always connect and disconnect continuously.
At first, I thought that it is because I am doing it from Windows 8, but I don't think that is an issue as I am having the same problem even on XP.
Please assist as it is very difficult for me to upgrade.
The second issue is the multi-connection implementation. We spoke about this sometime ago and we were discussing about the possibility of a point-to-point connection to different devices continuously. But I don't think that will work. Here is why:
1. It takes about 20 - 30 seconds for both BLUNOs (CENTRAL and PERIPHERAL) to reconnect to each other.
2. Right now, I have like more than 4 BLUNOs. If I were to keep track of all of them from BLUNO's CENTRAL, I've got to estimate the time needed for each PERIPERHALs as well as the CENTRAL before I deem that devices has been disconnected. That is 4 BLUNOs. What if I have 20 or even hundred BLUNOs.
3. So in conclusion, I think the best way to support multi-connection is for the CENTRAL to have a means of keeping PERIPHERAL's MAC addresses as well as keeping track of their individual RSSI.

2014-09-20 02:34:58 No, it doesn't support back to the old version.
Please send the "AT+SN=?" to check its status.

2014-09-17 21:41:54 It used to work perfectly. the sketch is the same with the DEMO (write back what it reads).
I uploaded the default settings as a peripheral device, and now it does not connect at all.

What is your Android Rom? >4.3? Does it work before?
Could you share your code? Does Bluno AT command returns OK?

2014-09-14 01:09:14 Hi all, (guess this is the right thread to ask)
I have upgraded the firmware of my BLUNO to 1.8, but then the demo Android app stopped functioning. Actually it connects but never returns the received data. does it have to do with the firmware update, or passcode or name of the device?
thanks

2014-06-09 20:39:20 Yeah, the multi-connection will take some time to change the connecting device.
Actually, it should be 9s. Anyway, congratulation.
The multi-connection should be supported in V1.9, it could change the connect aim very fast.
let us be patient.

2014-06-09 01:25:57 Well, regarding the firmware upgrade, perhaps it might be my mistake for doing from Windows 8. But I can't confirm that yet because I remember having to mess around with Windows XP device manager to delete the driver before I was able to place the necessary files.
I borrowed someone's else Windows 7 laptop and managed to upgrade it successfully. I have about 2 more BLUNOs to upgrade tomorrow perhaps. I shall update here if I face problems again tomorrow.
