Troubleshooting Maqueen robot

I'm trying to get my new Macqueen robot to work. I am using the sample code from your site through Microsoft MakeCode. The sample codes on this page worked for me a couple of days ago: https://wiki.dfrobot.com/micro_Maqueen_ ... _ROB0148-E
Here are the things I have checked:
Microbit is connected to computer (and working- will show LED lights on microbit)
Maqueen robot is turned on and has new batteries.
Program seems to download onto microbit okay e.g. some things work such as anything on Microbit LED interface and even LED r and LED l on Maqueen work and light up when programmed. )
However maqueen will not move-motor will not work (they were working with the same program 2 days ago)
RGB lights will not work (they were working with the same program 2 days ago)
Any ideas what's wrong?
