Bluno beetle connection to PC

I am currently using a bluno beetle for wireless bluetooth data transmission. My project involves collecting the data and sending it to labview which will do (near) real time processing of the data, over a serial connection (COMM port). If I wire the usb into my computer everything works as expected. However, my PC can't find the bluno beetle through bluetooth, I have tried USB dongles of several different varieties, to alas, no success. My Android phone does connect to the device so I know the BLE is enabled. Has anyone found a solution to this problem of bluno not being compatible with PC?
I have been searching through forum posts and found no real solution, only wiki links which simply only say IoS and Android. Is the beetle BLE simply not compatible with Windows OS?
