DFR0669..3.5" 480x320 TFT with capacitive touchscreen.. library for touchscreen alone

Hi, i have the above product which works ok with the full DFRobot_GDL-master library downloaded from wiki and used with Arduino IDE.
I would like to use a different User Interface library for the graphics and so only need the touch part of the DFRobot_GDL-master. I have tried without success to modify the library so I just get a serial print of the x, y and size of coordinates. Does DFRobot have a small touch only library for the GT911 driver which is used in this product? Many thanks.
