I see many of the gravity sensor requiring preheating anywhere from 3 minutes to 48 hours. I am currently looking at the SEN0465 oxygen sensor.
The documentation page gives some nice red warnings that look like this:
The initial power-on requires more than 5 minutes of preheating. It is recommended to preheat more than 24 hours if it has not been used for a long time.
I haven't seen anything that actually says HOW you preheat the sensor.
