DFR0282 Beetle Max Pin A0 input

Hello Dfrobot Forum,

Using a 555 timer to light LEDs controlled by a Beetle.
The 555 timer puts out a 7.9 volt signal. The max
input that the A0 pin on the Beetle will tolerate 
has been researched.
But the datasheets don't make it clear whether
the max input is 5 v or 8v.

What is the maximum voltage pin A0 will take
on the Beetle DFR0282?
