the wiring for the media cover to the firebeetle shows the media board connected to IO22, IO26 and IO27 on the firebeetle - those pins do not exist on the firebeetle

I checked that there are corresponding pins on the shield, please check the picture below. I don't know if I misunderstood what you meant.
