Noisy image on firebeetle 2 esp32-s3
I'm following this example but the result is a noisy image. There is something missing in this example to get a good image from the ov2640 camera? The image is bad even with a low XCLK MHz.
Hello,
I can confirm the same problem, using FireBeetle 2 Board ESP32-S3-U (N16R8) AIoT Microcontroller with Camera (16MB Fl., 8MB PS., Wi-Fi & BT via Cable)
FQBN: esp32:esp32:dfrobot_firebeetle2_esp32s3:CDCOnBoot=cdc,FlashSize=16M,PartitionScheme=app3M_fat9M_16MB,PSRAM=opi
Using board 'dfrobot_firebeetle2_esp32s3' from platform in folder: /home/development/.arduino15/packages/esp32/hardware/esp32/3.0.2
Using core 'esp32' from platform in folder: /home/development/.arduino15/packages/esp32/hardware/esp32/3.0.2
Tripple checked camera connection, aligned parameter as in example.
Can anybody provide and prove a working SW example for above configuration and board.
Example picture attached.
Christian.NewHi,
did you get any clue, where the stripes in the image come from?
It is definetely Not the cable or connector. I changed camera, but no success.
Alex.Ro131Hi xingzhao.zhu and jenna, thanks for the advice, I've checked the connection and it fits fine. Changing brightness and contrast helped reduce noise. The picture is much better now. But even in your image I can see some vertical lines. It seems that the brightness of the environment influences the ov2640 sensor a lot.
Fabio.FrancoHi!
You can modify the display parameters according to the environment. You can refer to the parameters I set. (in office)

Hello,
There is the possibility that the cable connection of the ov2640 camera is loose, the strips look a lot like signal interference. My recommendation is that you reconnect the camera cable, or replace the camera module if you have a spare one.
Hope this information will help.
Thank you.
