I am trying to use the microphone input for the dfr0745 voice recorder with no success. The goal is to record the output from the radio to the speaker. Simplified diagram below. I can't find any info about the mic input for this board so I'm at a dead end. I connected AON (Analog output negative) to GND pin next to the mic pin on board. Result : shortcut. So i thing this is no way.

After checking the schematic for the DFR0745, the onboard MIC is connect to the AGND, which is the GND near the MIC port.
And the MIC has connected a pull-up resistor(10k Ohm) inseries to D**DD. which did not lead out on the side hole of the DFR0745.
So may be you could directly solder the MIC on the bottom of the on board MIC

I think it is better to follow the wiki page setup first: https://wiki.dfrobot.com/Voice_Recorder_Module_Breakout_SKU_DFR0745

I done it already, many times. I am able to record sound with built in microphone, but. Problem is, that i am not able record sound through mic input. What you suggest, it is fine , but they don't give any information about mic input and for my project it is crucial.
