Unable to connect to Beetle CM-32u4

Hey,

I'm sure there is some user error but I can't get Arduino IDE to talk to my CM-32u4.

The DFRobot SAMD boards don't don't appear in the board manager which is likely the root issue, and then when I attempt to just use the Arduino AVR Leonardo (which is kind of what the Wiki seems to show..) it just claims no board detected on USB.

I'm using a 2016 Macbook pro, lights all happily flash when plugged in, so it's definitely powering the board. I've updated Arduino IDE.

Good evening:
The truth is that it has happened to me several times and I have not been able to get it to work again. The times it has happened to me is when loading the code from the Arduino IDE and three of the four times it happened to me was from Linux, the other from windows.

Hi, thanks turned out it was the cable… used a monitor thunderbolt cable and it's perfect

Hi,

The Beetle CM-32U4 could connect directly without the driver.

According to your description, it might be a problem with the USB cable. You can try to replace it with a Type-C cable that can transmit data.

If it still not working, you can try to use the Windows system and test it.
