Romeo ESP32-S3 powers down after several minutes

My Romeo ESP32-S3 turns off for no apparent reason after several seconds to a few minutes. The power led turns off and the device does not respond even to the reset button. I have to turn the power switch off and back on again or unplug it and plug it back in to get it to wake back up. While it is “off” 5V is still available but 3.3V is not. I have nothing plugged into the board except either the VIN or the USB for power. I have tried multiple power supplies and two different Romeo ESP32-S3 boards but they both behave the same way and the 3.3V keeps powering down randomly.
