Raspberry Pi MHS-3.5inch display not working

I plugged tin the screen correctly and ran the code given in the manual then nothing showed on the screen and on the HDMI. The Pi still worked as I was able to login with SSH, I asked support what to do and they told me to comment out a line in the config (dtoverlaty=vc4-fkms-V3D), but it was already commented out, when I removed the comment video returned to the HDMI.

I even updated the system before installing the drivers. Anything else I can try?
