Here I am trying to use an EC sensor, I have calibrated the condition of the sensor and I continuously dip the sensor in salt water. The readings became chaotic after 1 week after I dipped the sensor, is this normal or what?

Are you currently using the DFR0300 Analog Electrical Conductivity Sensor? Link: https://www.dfrobot.com/product-1123.html

On the product page, there is a warning that this sensor can not be used in liquid for a long time.

Please try to clean and dry the probe, wait a while and reconnect the probe to check if the readings have improved.
