MLX90614-DCI temperature range misconception!

I have chosen an MLX90614-DCI infrared temperature sensor for my project. My issue with this type of sensor was that based on the information I found on the datasheet this sensor should have a maximum output of 380 degrees Celcius. But today I found out the maximum output can't go higher than 299 which I couldn't find anywhere mentioned by the manufacturer.

Now I have a MLX90614-DCA version which has a wider FOV and can't be used in my project. My question is is it possible to remove the lens installed on the MLX90614-DCI version and install it on the DCA version sensor to make my FOV be 5degrees?
