mmWave C1001 - About installation for sleep monitoring
Hello!
I'm looking to develop a smart desk clock with sleep monitoring capabilities as a personal project.
Doing some research, I found out about the mmWave C1001 60GHz, which monitors sleep, among other things. However, as I was checking the documentation, I noticed the sensor is recommended to be installed above the person sleeping in a 45deg angle for it to gather data correctly.
My question is, could this sensor be of any use to me if I want to put it inside a desk clock, which would be on a table next to my bed? I wouldn't find it very practical to have it hanging above me.
If anyone could help me have more insight, I'd be very grateful.
Here's the image from the documentation, showing how it's to be installed.
