Intercompatibility - Terminal Block Shield for Arduino Mega

Hello!

I am wanting to know if I can use the Terminal Block Shield for Arduino Mega with the Arduino GIGA.
 

 I understand that there the GIGA operates at 3.3v and does offer different pin assignments, however it does have the same pin locations and spacing. If I ignore the pin labels on the terminals, would it still work as a simple pin-to-pin breakout? There seems to be some active circuitry on the terminal board that may cause compatibility issues with 3.3v etc.
