Does DFR0524 support HID for touchscreen?

As we are looking into using DFR0524 in the general linux, does touchscreen of “ DFR0524” support universial HID?
And is the firmware you release only for RaspberryPi, or can it be used for the other Linux platform as we are developing system with Yocto?
