Character lost in transmissionin Bettle BLE

I'm playing with the Beetle BLE with a small pet project : https://github.com/msesma/peluco
The problem I have is that no matter the speed I select, when I transmit data to the Beetle the character nº 17 is lost. Only that one.
I have done a workaround sending a first json key with dummy data, but I'm intrigued about the reason. Any clue?
