    You Reply: I used AC/DC adapter output rated 9V 300ma.  Pressed reset for 10 seconds,  I then unplugged the power then USB and reconnected.

    The IP changed to :

    inet 169.254.177.110 netmask 0xffff0000 broadcast 169.254.255.255

    I am using a Mac for development.  The ethernet connection defaults to DHCP.  The above IP may have been assigned by my Mac.  I made it manual and set the IP to 192.168.1.254.  As before I can ping the IP but cannot open the config page.  The configuration Web server may not be running.

    That did not work.  Any other ideas? 

    Its an Audrino UNO powered from the USB connection.
