What is a BLE Beacon?
A BLE Beacon, also known as a low-power Bluetooth beacon, is a small wireless device that broadcasts signals using BLE technology. These signals contain a unique identifier that can be detected by nearby devices equipped with Bluetooth technology, such as ESP32 and smartphones, that support BLE scanning. Beacons do not need to be paired with devices to broadcast their data.

This Gravity wireless BLE Sensor Beacon with a built-in 11-bit ADC can collect data from digital and analog sensors and broadcast it via Bluetooth. Users can access the sensor data within broadcasting range on a Bluetooth-equipped device such as a smartphone or ESP32.
Multi-Sensor Compatibility
This IoT sensor node with a built-in 11-bit ADC can be combined with both 3.3V digital and analog sensors. By integrating your sensor with the Gravity: BLE Beacon Sensor, you can easily upgrade it into a wireless sensor.
For example, in the past, a garden soil humidity detection system required controllers to be placed near each flower pot or long cables to be used for connection. Now, all you need to do is install a Gravity: BLE Beacon Sensor for each sensor to easily obtain soil humidity information for each flower pot!

Low Power Consumption and Low Cost
This BLE Sensor Beacon can run for months or even years with just a single battery, making it ideal for long-term applications. It is highly customizable with numerous options for configuring signal strength, transmission frequency, and other settings.
For example, smart locks in smart homes do not need regular battery replacement due to their low power consumption, greatly extending the product's lifetime. When a user approaches the door, the lock will automatically connect to the user's phone and perform identity verification.

User-Friendly
The configuration process does not require any programming or mastery of Bluetooth protocol technology. You just need to configure it through the graphical interface. Once configured, the device will turn on and operate as a Bluetooth beacon according to the configuration information, automatically collecting sensor data and broadcasting it to the outside world. It is ideal as an Internet of Things sensor node, such as data collection nodes in smart farms, offices, factories, and warehouses.
Customizable Broadcast Parameters
This BLE sensor is compatible with iBeacon, Eddystone, and other official broadcasting formats and also supports custom broadcasting formats. Customers can configure broadcasting formats, broadcasting intervals, and trigger broadcasting conditions through specialized configuration software according to their own needs.
For example, retailers can use this product to identify iBeacon, Eddystone, and other signals when customers enter a mall and push specific product discounts or navigation information through the configured broadcasting format to enhance their shopping experience.
Note:
1. Gravity: BLE sensor beacons need to be configured using the 3.3V USB-TTL tool.
2. The sensor can only be burned once, so don't click "Burn/Program" before confirming the configuration information. Test the module through "Run in RAM", which can be used infinitely before burning. The system will reset when powered off.
