Hi,
Does the SIM7600CE-T work in Australia?
Also will the shield work if it is powered by a standalone Arduino Mega with a steady 5v supply connected to mega?

"USB Voltage: 5V, Operating Voltage: 5V, Input Voltage: VIN(7-23V)/USB(5V)"

TIA

2021-01-27 05:44:58 Ok, I have a custom pcb on top that has traces that run D7-TX1,D8-RX 1. This allows me to run D7+8 to Serial 1 for hardware serial. That would make my serial connections the wrong way around with this module. I guess that I could use jumper wires instead of caps on the sim7600 jumper interface to correct this, however it would make it unable to have another shield(or in my case custom pcb) stacked ontop. Do they make 2x2 pin jumper caps that transfer in a X shape or any ideas? userHeadPic will.aked
2021-01-26 09:30:58 Australia’s 3G network is WCDMA and 4G networks are compatible with FDD-LTE. SIM7600CE-T can be used in Australia.
As for the power supply problem, the shield can be powered by the main control board, without an additional separate power supply.
The serial ports of SIM7000 and SIM7600CE-T are opposite to make these two shields not be used at the same time. If they are used at the same time, errors may occur due to commands.

2021-01-25 05:40:54 Also, Is there any explanation for the jumper interface? It would seem that for software serial TX-D7, RX-D8 are the jumper options. This would make it the opposite of the sim7000e shield (TX-D8,RX-D7), Can you confirm for me.. userHeadPic will.aked
