Bluno vs Arduino, and motor drivers

I read that the Bluno is "Arduino compatible". Can I use the regular Arduino IDE rather than having to download a new IDE?

I read that there are 4 motor drivers on the Romeo BLE Quad, but I cannot find a spec for the current that the motor drivers can handle.
