SEN0207 - how to select mode

I have bought a SEN0207 weather-proof Ultrasonic sensor and am trying to figure out how to hook it up to my raspberry pi. I have looked at the help page but TBH I am still very lost.
It talks about different modes of operation and I think that I want Mode 1 - a serial connection where it continuously sends me the measured distance. I have no idea how to select this mode though. Do I have to solder together those 2 tiny contacts on the PCB?

Yes, just like the wiki said. You have to solder these two contacts on the M1 to enable the MODE 1.
