Bluno M3 V2.2 with VM on macOS

Hi guys,
Needing some help getting my Bluno working. While I understand the IDE doesn't work on Mac, I'm trying to work through a virtual environment without luck. The Bluno won't show up as a serial device when plugged in and this appears to be due to a lack of the correct USB-Serial driver on the host computer Mac. I've tried installing FTDI and CH34X drivers and they work for other dev boards I have but not the Bluno. Any ideas?
Host: MacBook Pro 2017 (USB-C only) with macOS Sierra 10.13.3
VM: VMWare Fusion with Windows 10 Pro.
Device: Bluno M3 V2.2
