You Reply: But does it work for you?
Any suggestions for what I can do to get mine working? Or is it defective?

You Reply: Hey Grey, thanks for the reply.
I've tried a smart phone with cable going from the headphones to the input of the shield, and no key works. I've also tried two different landline phones. The application I'm wanting to get work is from a landline, but it doesn't seem like any phone works. The only success I've had is by playing sounds through my computer with the volume turned up high, and even then not all the tones get detected.

If I play tones out of my computer (with cable connected from headphone port to shield input), it works fine. But having it hooked up to a land line phone, it doesn't detect anything. Hooking up the phone tap to speakers confirms that the tap is working, it's just not as loud as it when I play tones out of my computer.
Anyone have any ideas for what I can do to get this working?
