OK, I'll buy that logic. I didn't know one way or another whether there was a temp sensor buried inside.
The DFRobot web site says, “the sensor features an IP68 waterproof rating, which means it can be fully immersed in water without suffering any damage. This makes it perfect for outdoor projects that require reliable light measurement in harsh environments”.
Photoresistors, photodiodes, and phototransistors are ALL temperature sensitive. I assume the light sensor is one of these.
I need to use this light sensor OUTDOORS (summer thru winter).
Is the output sensitive to extreme temperature changes of not ??
