  • You Reply: If you need any more of an answer I would assume it would not have to come from Microsoft not DFRobot or LattePanda as they would be the owners of the product in question. I do not have a number for LattePanda but you could try https://www.lattepanda.com/ and ask them.
  • You Reply: I can answer 4.
    The Latte Panda Alpha sports a 7th gen Intel Core M Processor. That is a x86 architecture. The Alpha also has a ATmega32u4 ARM Processor based on the Arduino Leonardo as well. I believe the other LattePandas are x86 and also have a ARM dfrobot processor as well but I only researched the Alpha...
  • You Reply: Generally the Windows License is attached to the computer not a user. This means that you can not use copy windows on more than one PC unless you purchase a Retail License. It should not be a legal issue as long as you purchase the Windows with each device.

    I must say that I just received my LattePanda Alpha and saw that the installed version of windows was "Windows 10 Pro Educational". This actually makes me question the legality of the windows installations that come on the LattePandas themselves... :?
    If the windows installation is illegal from the retailer, I would assume they would absorb any legal issues that may come about as long as you do not break the license agreement yourself.
  • You Reply: I have the same error I had on my last Bluno Mega chips on my NEW Bluno 2560!
    I was doing GREAT coding and playing with my Bluno all night last night. I fire it up tonight and I cant upload to it!

    When I try I get this no matter what sketch I try to send!

    "vrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
    avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x006b
    0xe2 != 0x00
    avrdude: verification error; content mismatch"

    Just for kicks I try the ATMega 1280 Processor and I get this:

    avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
    avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x60
    avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
    avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 2 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x60
    avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
    avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 3 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x60

    avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 5 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x60

    avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 6 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x60

    avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 7 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x60
    avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
    avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 8 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x60
    avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
    avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 9 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x60
    avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
    avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x60
    Problem uploading to board. See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions.

    At least the driver is displaying as
    "USB Serial Device"

    I dont know what could have happened...

    Help!

    again...

  • You Reply: Worked. I see with the newer FW update you just stay in 115200.
    Thanks
  • You Reply: Yes in Windows 10 It recognizes it as a USB Serial Device.
    When I try the Special driver I get an error that the INF does not contain signature information.

    It does work though so I guess for me upgrading to Windows 10 resolved the problem.

  • You Reply: As I stated I am using Windows 7 but I will test on a windows 10 PC but I do not use this box to work on regularly. The thing is My device always has an exclamation mark (!) and does not function in the Arduino IDE. I get the error stated above when I try to update or install any driver for the device. Is it a way to find the file windows is looking for and says it can not find... I have been googling and can find no resolution. My other usb devices work fine. That is what is tricky to me.
    It seems like half of the drivers are stuck in Windows somewhere and now Device manager is basically confused. I have tried resetting the FileRepository, and a few other tricks. Any other ideas or information you guys need from me
    to help me out?
  • You Reply: You are correct it is the BLUNO MEGA 2560
    I am also running Windows 7 SP1
  • You Reply: Yep and I returned it.
    I actually repurchased The Bluno 1280 and Bluno Mega 2560 from this site this time in hope that the hardware would be better.
    I dont know what the heck... I cant install the Bluno 1280. My error is now different and it notices what the device is unlike before, but I get and error when I install the special drivers that says
    "Windows found the driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.
    Arduino Mega 1280 R3
    The system cannot find the file specified."

    I also tried the Mega 2560 but I cant find usb drivers for it at all.
    Both show up in windows as DFRobot Bluno.
    Looks like there are no instructionsa at all for the Mega 2560.... omg I should have looked before I dropped 50 bucks again....
  • You Reply: Isnt that what this bit of code does??

    Code: Select all
      XBee.begin(9600);
      Serial.begin(9600);

    Is it something else I am missing?
    Is there another place I can do it?
  • You Reply: Thank you. I will try to pick up an adapter.
    No my baud is 9600... I also have NL&CR selected but still get gibberish....
    I am using an Arduino UNO.
