You Reply: I did with no success. It is very strange. Can I revert back to 1.6?

You Reply: After my upgrade no. Before the upgrade yes (and thus I did the upgrade to 1.8version of the firmware as the step-by-step guide says).
However, still I can access the serial port through IDE and give AT commands to the chip.

You Reply: It used to work perfectly. the sketch is the same with the DEMO (write back what it reads).
I uploaded the default settings as a peripheral device, and now it does not connect at all.

You Reply: Hi Grey,
when I press boot or reset, the link and pair LEDS do not blink. When I try to upload a sketch, they blink, but the sketch is not uploaded. it seems the path from bluetooth to Atmega chip is broken (?).
However I still can see the serial port from Arduino IDE and can change (through AT commands) the setting of the BLE chip).

You Reply: Hi all,
I had a strange situation with my BLUNO. Suddenly it stopped being programmable through the USB. (the usual get sync error), USB port was not recognized by Arduino IDE, but powering from USB was ok.
In anyway, I kept the device and used the ICSP pins which were ok. When I followed the guide to update firmware and by pressing the boot button, my arduino IDE(1.0.5.) recognized again the USB port!!. I then followed the guide to upgrade the firmware to 1.8 successfully.
However it still is not capable of uploading a sketch through USB (l get sync error), albeit IDE sees the serial port. Am I missing smt?
Does it have to do with AT+USBdebug or anything else? I restored the initial setting but no hope.

You Reply: Hi all, (guess this is the right thread to ask)
I have upgraded the firmware of my BLUNO to 1.8, but then the demo Android app stopped functioning. Actually it connects but never returns the received data. does it have to do with the firmware update, or passcode or name of the device?
thanks
